About Us

At Titletown Amstaffs, we are passionate about the dynamic and versatile American Staffordshire Terrier. Known for their exceptional intelligence and athleticism, our Amstaffs excel in more than just the show ring. In addition to conformation dog shows, our dogs thrive in obedience competitions, drafting (carting) trials, and sanctioned pack dog hikes, showcasing their incredible drive and adaptability. We prioritize health and well-being, ensuring all our breeding dogs undergo thorough health testing, including hips, heart, and ataxia screenings. Occasionally, we have puppies available for approved homes—each one raised with care and dedication to excellence.

Titletown Amstaffs is dedicated to showcasing the incredible versatility and working potential of the American Staffordshire Terrier. Our dogs excel in a variety of activities, including the challenging Pack Dog and Drafting events. Rush made history as the first Amstaff to earn a sanctioned Pack Dog Title, completing the Novice and Open levels with impressive endurance, hiking up to 10 miles while carrying 20-30% of his body weight, even in harsh conditions like rain and freezing temperatures. Drafting is another exciting sport we’re passionate about, with Sniper earning his Novice Draft Dog (NDD) title, and Rush and Sidle both achieving the Open Draft Dog (DD) title. Drafting tests a dog’s obedience, maneuverability, and strength as they pull weighted carts, and we've proudly participated in trials through the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America and the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America. Whether hiking or carting, our Amstaffs demonstrate the remarkable drive and dedication that make them true working dogs. Check out some of our training and hike photos below!
